QuickPin is a location-saving mobile app. The legal operator and privacy contact details must be inserted and verified before this document is made effective.
Account information
Depending on the app features you use, QuickPin may process your account email, authentication identifiers, account preferences and related metadata to register, secure and operate your account. The exact fields and third-party authentication service must be verified against production.
Saved places and folders
QuickPin is designed to let you save and organize locations. Data may include saved-place labels you provide, coordinates, addresses, your folders and related information. Where a place is obtained from Google Maps or another provider, the storage and display rules depend on the provider’s applicable terms and must be audited before this notice is finalized.
Location permissions and shared links
If you choose to share a place to QuickPin from another app, QuickPin may process the supplied link and location details to identify and save it. Device location access, if offered, should be optional and used only for the feature you activate. The precise permissions, background activity and processing paths must be verified against released app builds.
Purposes and legal bases
Processing may be needed to provide the app and user-requested features, protect accounts from misuse, meet legal obligations, or act on specific consent. For users in the EEA, each purpose needs a documented legal basis (such as GDPR Article 6(1)(b), 6(1)(f), or 6(1)(a), as applicable) after a factual audit.
Service providers and external map data
The implementation may involve Supabase for account and data infrastructure, Google Maps/Places services to identify or present locations, and platform services on iOS or Android. Confirm the exact processors, international transfers, map attribution and data retention constraints before publication. Third-party maps and links are also subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and account deletion
Personal information should be retained only as long as needed for documented purposes or required by law. QuickPin includes or plans an in-app account-deletion flow; its actual effects, backups, processing deadlines, and exceptions must be tested and described precisely before launch. Do not assume a deletion request has been completed until confirmed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to processing, or delete personal information and to withdraw applicable consent. Add the final contact mechanism and in-app request instructions after checking the released app.
Age and security
QuickPin plans eligibility for users aged 16 or older. The final policy and registration flow must match applicable age-of-digital-consent rules in supported regions. Account and security controls, including authentication and access restrictions, must be independently tested.
Updates
Before becoming effective, this draft must be updated with verified practices, an effective date, complete company details and a functioning contact address. Significant later changes should be communicated as required by law.
